The inaugural
Astronomical Society of Australia and Australian National Institute for
Theoretical Astrophysics Summer School is going to be held at the
University of Tasmania's Cradle Coast Campus between Sunday January 13th
and Thursday January 24th 2008. The subject of the inaugural school
will be Relativistic Astrophysics.
Aim of the school
The aim of the school is to provide graduate students with an
up-to-date overview of topics in theoretical astrophysics, which have
significant international impact, outlining historical
development, current status, and future developments and questions.

- Accretion Theory
- Relativistic Jets
- Gamma Ray Bursts
Workshops:
- Gravitational Lensing
- Astrophysical Visualization
- N-body Simulations
- X-ray Data Analysis
